Mary Lou Watkin Moore, L.T.
Mary Lou is affiliated with both Westside Unity and Unity of Pomona. She has been a licensed teacher since 1973 after spending several weeks training at Unity Village over the span of three years. Mary Lou has been a Sunday speaker and has taught classes and workshops at Unity centers in Anaheim, Orange, Pasadena, Alhambra, Torrance, Long Beach, Whittier-Brea, and was interim minister at Newport Unity and Unity of Pomona during their searches for full-tme ministers. She also officiates at weddings and memorial services.
Ken Harrison
Ken, affectionately known as "Mr. Unity", is a frequent guest speaker at Westside. He is a third generation Unity student, who grew up in the Southern California Unity movements. With his infectious enthusiasm brought about by his prevoius background as a radio talk show host and local politician. He guest speaks almost every Sunday, and has had the honor of speaking at 33 Unity churches in southern California, Arizona, and Nevada.
In the 90's he was Southwest Unity's Director of the Youth of Unity ministry, organizing weekend rallies, kids' camps, and retreats. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Y.O.U. Alumni Association. He has also taught courses for the Unity School of Religious Studies CEP sessions, and was awarded the Distinguished Youth Service Award by the Association of Unity Churches for his work with Y.O.U.
Outside of Unity, he currently owns and operates California Comedy Traffic Schools with 20 classroom locations in the Southern California area. Together with his wife Cheryl Ann, they consider their highest accomplishments to be their sons Jonny and Trevor, all residing in Cardiff by the sea.
